A new way

Written by: Giles

A change is coming, a new way. I feel it.

I can’t say why I feel it. It’s just a feeling I have deep inside. Something unexplainable, impossible to place.

I have been wandering the caverns at odd times, unable to focus. As I do so, I overhear snippets of conversations between explorers. At first I kept my distance, fearing my presence would drive them away; I suppose I expected some of them to recognise me, but when I thought about it, I didn’t know why they would.

There are others out there attempting to Write, and they too, are unsatisfied. Unfulfilled with both the ancient methods and those trying to regulate them.I admit, some of the discussions are simply the whining of a child not getting what they want immediately, taking issue with the scarcity of inks and books to scrawl in. Some explorers however whisper of something that is not entirely understood by me.

I am beginning to feel that soon, we (by which I mean all of us) will be Writing and Linking to Ages in a new way. The nexus is a simple example, but the beautiful and ornate books that hold these worlds cannot do so forever. Someone, or something will release these Ages for more than just the select few in these caverns to see.

I’m no soothsayer, it’s just an odd feeling I have.

Cold Friday

Written by: Giles

It’s getting cold. It’s surprising how fast it happens.
